AMICALE SPIRIT OF SPEED  at THE SUMMER BASH  SATURDAY 19 & SUNDAY 20 JULY 2025

AMICALE SPIRIT OF SPEED

In 2008 five collectors of different nationalities came together to create a European club with the aim of preserving and promoting the heritage of road racing motorcycles at the international level. This commitment originated from a statement by John Surtees: "Motorcycle heritage exists. it is in our hands. If we don’t take care, the classic scene will lose his soul."

The club's philosophy is focused on the research and preservation of machines of historical and/or technological interest, the quality of presentation with priority given to the authenticity of the machines and the accuracy of the information offered to the public, and is now officially recognized by the FIM at the world level to identify and preserve the heritage of historic speed machines.

Today the Amicale Spirit of Speed brings together members from 14 nationalities with a collection of over 4000 machines including all Grand Prix categories from 1949 and from 50cc to the latest 500 V4s and up to the present day including the most recent MotoGP, production and factory official machines from WSBK, BSB, EWC & Formula 750 - TTF1.

All the machines are in original condition as they completed their last races or have been restored with the utmost care for authenticity. They are in perfect working order and are put into action regularly on the biggest European circuits and events which is a constant challenge for factory machines for which few spare parts are still available.

The Summer Bash is truly excited to welcome the Amicale Sprirt of Speed with a range of circa 30 stunning machines for their first visit to Cadwell Park, which will not only be on display in the paddock but taking part in very special race bike parade sessions on track throughout the weekend.
