SUMMER BASH - CADWELL PARK   featuring Suzuki GSXR & RG500/400 40th ANNIVERSARY  SATURDAY 19 & SUNDAY 20 JULY 2025

WELCOME TO THE SUMMER BASH!

The Summer Bash is open to all makes of machines and for all bikers to enjoy a biking weekend at one of the best circuits in the country with lots of tracktime & displays, and to celebrate arguably two of the most iconic motorcycling anniversaries possible . . . .

SUZUKI GSX-R 40TH ANNIVERSARY
Suzuki created the start of one of the most legendary blood lines in the motorcycling world when they built the first GSX-R750 in 1985, and over the forthcoming four decades continued to evolve the GSX-R family with some of the best loved & market-leading bikes ever built, leading the way with new machines until the present day. The Summer Bash will be celebrating this milestone and although we'll follow the general format for all CBT events, the event will also cater for ALL Suzuki GSXRs from 1985 to 2025 with special track sessions for all post 2000 GSX-Rs

We also plan to host a GSX-R (& RG500) parade and photo shoot on the circuit (TBC) which will be open for all track riders, club riders and spectators alike, so everyone can be a part of this memorable event. More details to follow

SUZUKI RG500/400 ANNIVERSARY
The RG500 was one of the most successful Grand Prix machines of its time, and the success in racing spawned the building of crazy road going replicas (for all the Japanese manufacturers). However, the Suzuki RG500 was the most powerful of all the GP500 replicas when it was available from 1985 to 1987, and since then has become a revered and sought after machine with a dedicated following across the world.

We'll also be welcoming its little brother the RG400 so hope to see all RG500s / RG400s and their owners who are encouraged to join in the Summer Bash to celebrate the 40th Anniversary, where riders will be able to take part in track sessions, parades and displays throughout the weekend. More details to follow

THE CIRCUIT / TRACK SESSIONS
The famous 2.1 mile rollercoaster will play host to all the trackday machinery with non-stop action from a superb array of motorcycles from vintage to modern classics, and standard to highly modified, with a mix of track sessions and parades throughout Saturday and Sunday.

THE PADDOCK
The Cadwell Park paddock will be another hive of activity shared between the track bikes (which will be a show in its own right) and the many machines on display from Clubs and individuals, including all the Suzuki GSX-Rs and RG500s present to celebrating their 40th Anniversaries

FREE LUNCHTIME PARADES
The Summer Bash will offer special parades for all GSX-R and RG500 riders (track, club, trade and spectators) the chance to experience 3 laps of Cadwell Park circuit completly free of charge. All riders will simply need to register on the day

CLUBS & INDIVIDUAL DISPLAYS
All classic motorcycle clubs and individual exhibitors - especially GSX-R and RG500 owners - are very welcome to be a part of the Summer Bash and display their bikes, maybe take part in the lunchtime parades, enjoy a chilled weekend and the Saturday evening entertainment and all for free - just complete the booking form!

SATURDAY EVENING
The biking atmosphere continues into Saturday evening in the clubhouse bar and restaurant. More details to follow

MORE TO COME
There's more in the pipeline, so we'll keep everyone updated here when new details are confirmed, but it promises to be another spectacular weekend full of motorcycling. We hope you can be a part of it!
