TWO WHEELS FOR LIFE   Classic Bike Trackdays chosen charity; Two Wheels for Life, raises funds to support Riders for Health programmes providing medical and healthcare to rural communities across Africa  All proceeds from CBT Tuition and Trade Stand donations at all CBT events throughout the year go to TWO WHEELS FOR LIFE

Riders for Health was founded in 1986 by GP racing legend Randy Mamola and Barry & Andrea Coleman with the aim of using motorcycles to get healthcare to remote communities in Africa. By 1990 Riders for Health had built a fleet of 47 bikes that delivered health-care services reducing the disease and illnesses by getting patients much-needed medicine. Riders (as it became known) expanded into Ghana, Zimbabwe and Nigeria and introduced a motorcycle ambulance fitted with a sidecar called the Uhuru that can also be used as a water pump!

In 2016 Two Wheels for Life was established to take over the fundraising activities and to continue to support Riders operations.

Two Wheels for Life raises funds to support Riders for Health programmes across Africa. Their mission is to raise funds in the world of motorcycling to support the delivery of healthcare, using motorcycles to reach communities in rural Africa.

Everyone everywhere deserves to have reliable access to the health care they need, however remote and however harsh the conditions. Many people die of easily preventable and curable health issues simply because they cannot be reached because of distance or terrain. TWFL have proved that reliable motorcycles for front line health professionals are the cost-effective solution to these challenges.

TWFL support motorcycle rider and driver training to ensure that the front-line health workers ride safely and well. And, most importantly, train mechanics so that the motorcycles and other vehicles used in delivering health care are reliable and cost efficient.

There are currently four Riders for Health programmes operating in The Gambia, Nigeria, Malawi and Lesotho. Two Wheels for Life is the sister organisation whose focus is to raise funds to support the Riders for Health programmes in Africa.

Riders for Health has reached:
The Gambia: the entire population of 2.1 million
Lesotho: two-thirds of the 2.2 million population
Nigeria: over 20 million people across eight states
Malawi: the entire population of 18.6 million
