A huge part of The Welsh Classic Motorcycle Festival is always the track action which takes places over the weekend, and the classic bike track sessions are certainly a big favourite with the riders and spectators alike 

 

Dubbed the UK version of Australia's Philip Island and for good reason, this thrilling ribbon of pristine tarmac is renowned for being ultra smooth and grippy and is 12m wide at its narrowest, making it second only to Silverstone in the UK, and has numerous features loved by riders including the phenomenal 10% Banking section which flows into the wonderful high speed sweep through "Church" and "School' before heading uphill to "Rocket" with only a couple more corners before the infamous downhill "Corkscrew". 

 

Riders also get to ride two circuits over the WCMF weekend;  

the full 3.4km International Circuit on Saturday, and the 2.5km Coastal Circuit featuring the Corkscrew on the Sunday. There are groups for Novice, Intermediate, Late Intermediate (for bikes upto 2010) and Experienced, so you'll be riding with similar machines or rider experience all weekend. 

 

Anglesey's paddock and pit complex features well spec'd spacious garages, a friendly clubhouse and great shower blocks meaning the quality of the facilities matches the superb on track experience.  

 

All track bookings for the Welsh Classic Motorcycle Festival include 10 sessions over the weekend, two adult weekend entry tickets to the event worth £40, Saturday evening entertainment, camping from 6pm Friday and access to the now infamous Chippy Run!
