WELSH CLASSIC MOTORCYCLE FESTIVAL CHIPPY RUN  SATURDAY 25 MAY 2024

THE CHIPPY RUN!

It's the perfect way for everyone who attends the WCMF to finish their biking day whether they're a track rider, show exhibitor, parader, trader or even spectator to jump on your (road legal) bike and enjoy riding some of Anglesey's finest roads - lead by our friends at the Anglesey Motorcycle Club - and return to the circuit for fish n' chips!

The idea started at the first WCMF when you looked back - a LONG way back when we were spotty-faced 16 year olds, and we raced off in a haze of blue smoke to the chippy on the other side of town for a bag of chips.

Decades later the Welsh Classic Motorcycle Festival offered everyone the chance to relive their youth on the Saturday evening with the WCMF Chippy Run to jump aboard your trusty steed and take a ride out to get your chips . . . and don't forget plenty of salt n' vinegar!!

Of course you don't need to be riding a FS1E or any moped for that matter at the WCMF - all bikes are welcome and pillions too, it's just for the fun of it, and who doesn't like a bag of chips on a Saturday night?!

All riders should start gathering near the Paddock entrance from 5pm so the Chippy Run can leave promptly at 5:30pm on Saturday 25 May once the track sessions have come to a close and the spectators can have a break from spectating, so everyone who'd like to take part will be able to do so.

As always our grateful thanks go to our friends at the Anglesey Motorcycle Club who will be leading the way as the Chippy Run takes a scenic route around the islands' most glorious roads, before returning to the circuit and the all-important chippy van for a dose of your favourite deep fried goodness!
